Kara will begin rehearsals for The Van Gogh Café by Lauren Gunderson (adapted from the book by Cynthia Rylant) tomorrow evening with Clint Thornton and Synchronicity Performance Group. On Tuesday, she will be recording her first ever professional voice over gig with Luckyfish Studios for a client of extreme importance to the Atlanta area. Otherwise, she is still working hard along with the entire Entertainment team at Stone Mountain Park to prepare for Spring FUN Break and the fast approaching summer season.

March 1, 2008: SMP, SETC, Synchronicity

Because she conceived, co-wrote, and will direct SMP's "Southern Fried Shakespeare Co." this summer, Kara is assisting the casting of Stone Mountain Park's 2008 Spring/Summer season. She sat in on music/dance auditions and led improvisation auditions for the park's main auditions Feb. 13-15. She will attend the Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) next week in Chattanooga, TN, with SMP Associate Producer Michael Vaughn to help recruit additional performing and technical talent for the Park. Kara has also been "cast" as a company trainer for SMP. She will teach orientation classes for incoming employees. In just three weeks, rehearsals begin for The Van Gogh Café with Synchronicity
